Astralis shockingly did not make any roster changes this offseason, despite failing at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR B. However, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz is set to return after a short break, which is not something to brush off.<\/p>\n

The last time the Danish AWPer played, Astralis made the semifinals of BLAST Premier World Final 2024, and even before dev1ce’s break, they had started showing some signs of stability. All that is promising, but Astralis will remain a team with a high ceiling and low floor.<\/p>\n

Wildcard are one of the tournament outsiders, priced at $151.00 in outright betting markets with the best Counter-Strike betting sites<\/a>. They had a solid showing at the Shanghai Major, which should inspire some confidence that Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and co. can bite. Still, the quality is not there.<\/p>\n

SAW are not among the leading candidates to win BLAST Bounty Spring 2025<\/a>, but this is a potent team with scary firepower. Especially Andr\u00e9 “Ag1l” Gil and Jos\u00e9 “shr” Gil can be hard to stop when they get rolling, which could help SAW pick up an upset or two.<\/p>\n

BIG added Can “kyuubii” Ali and Marcel “hyped” K\u00f6hn last week to freshen up their roster, which does not inspire much confidence. Neither player proved themselves at the highest tier of competition, and kyuubii has not played an official match since September.<\/p>\n

It is very difficult to feel optimistic about BIG and their current roster iteration. Hyped and kyuubii are clear downgrades from Florian “syrsoN” Rische and Rigon “rigoN” Gashi.<\/p>\n

Fielding another elite roster consisting of the ex-HEROIC core<\/a> and Nikola “NiKo” Kova\u010d, Team Falcons will be aiming at nothing less than the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 trophy. However, realistically, this is just a slightly improved version of 2024 HEROIC, who were competitive but hardly more than a top-10 rated team.<\/p>\n

With very little time to prepare, Falcons can also quickly implode, so it is not entirely unlikely they slip against weaker opponents.<\/p>\n

ENCE will look to take advantage of the Falcons’ questionable stability despite having very little experience facing elite teams. On the other side, they appeared in a few LAN events in 2024 and performed well against decent opponents.<\/p>\n

At the offered odds, a smaller position on ENCE to take a map is worth a look. Team Falcons are stronger, but they’re also unproven.<\/p>\n

Team Vitality were already a force to be reckoned with in 2024, and with the addition of Robin “ropz” Kool, they have become even scarier. The team atmosphere and overall stability should not struggle even though ropz has not spent much time with his team, and if things fall into place, Vitality can easily emerge as serious Major title contenders.<\/p>\n

Metizport will have a mountain to climb on Wednesday as they face one of the tournament favourites. It does not help that the Swedish squad field an entirely new roster without any star players.<\/p>\n

Expect a very one-sided match.<\/p>\n
