So far at LoL Worlds 2024, G2 Esports have defeated paiN Gaming and Weibo Gaming and lost against Hanwha Life Esports. Even though G2 showed some resistance in that defeat, the game got a bit goofy due to HLE’s errors, so we should not put too much weight on how close the Europeans came at some points.<\/p>\n

T1 defeated Bilibili Gaming on Sunday, although the LoL Pro League (LPL)<\/a> champions have not been in the best shape. Moreover, while T1 played well on the day, it is not often that Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and co. perform at that level.<\/p>\n

The defending world champions have been inconsistent in the latter part of the season, and while their game-to-game upside is as good as anyone’s, T1 are not great at closing out matches — as seen in their loss against Top Esports.<\/p>\n

Despite their hiccups, G2 Esports and T1 both have high upside; therefore, the result of this series will come down to which of the two steps up on the day. The best LoL betting sites<\/a> should have priced the match closer to even money.<\/p>\n

Bilibili Gaming were the outright favourites on the pre-tournament LoL Worlds 2024 betting<\/a> markets, but they have not met expectations yet. LPL’s top seed lost to T1 and LNG Esports, both times due to small yet impactful unforced errors.<\/p>\n

The loss against their regional rivals was rough, as it came down to BLG taking a big fight prior to buying items despite holding a significant gold lead. The defeat against T1 was simply Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin and co. performing worse.<\/p>\n

PSG Talon have not looked great, but it is fair to say we have not seen the best of them yet. They were rolled over by Hanwha Life Esports, dominated MAD Lions KOI, and were out-drafted by FlyQuest. Unfortunately, that is too small of a sample size to draw any conclusions.<\/p>\n

Bilibil Gaming are an excellent team, but at this number, PSG Talon with the map handicap are a far more appealing bet. The Pacific Championship Series (PCS) champions have the experience and the talent to perform at a high level, while they pushed Bilibili to five maps at the Mid-Season Invitational<\/a>.<\/p>\n
