Group D team and betting analysis
Group D, should be a group that will be dominated by Virtus Pro.
Virtus Pro has made no changes to its roster from The International 8, and although they didnt perform at the level many expected there, expectations are still high in Kuala Lumpur.
Virtus Pro star, Noone, is one of the best position 2 players in the world. We can’t imagine how Virtus Pro don’t advance to winner’s bracket of the main event, given their squad member’s heroes pool knowledge and synergy.
Forward Gaming consists of two strong tier 1 players — Resolution and Universe. Resolution’s standard is as strong as Team Liquid’s Miracle and Virtus Pro’s Noone. Universe, is the best offlaner in the world, although he does not always make big plays throughout the game, focusing on patience and consistent to put his team in a winning position.
Pain X is the second team that earned their slot in Kuala Lumpur Major through the South America Qualifier. Ritsu and CCNC, Pain X’s core players, are well-known for their expert gameplay, however we do not think that they alone are able to carry Pain X to the path of taking down other tier 1 teams.
Alliance, does not have any big achievements with their current roster. They struggled a lot this year and we do not think they are able to make any big inroads here.
