The seasoned player made it very tough for Zven to enjoy the early minutes of the laning phase. He secured three kills for himself in the process, which is an accomplishment that is often reserved for the ADC and not the support.

FlyQuest had the chance to focus on increasing their pressure thanks to the minor advantage they had in the bot lane. Due to FlyQuest’s already attaining Soul point when Baron spawned, C9 was forced to be very careful about exactly where the team would be moving their concentration.

Yesterday, the jungler for FlyQuest, Brandon “Josedeodo” Joel Villegas, granted an interview. He stated that he believes his team is a little bit uncoordinated at the moment and that establishing the team’s consistency is what they would need to achieve in order to “prove a lot of stuff.”

During the game, the team’s coordination seemed like it had far greater synergy. The team moved rapidly to determine their win conditions and eliminated the primary obstacles that stood between them and a successful outcome.

As the week came to a close in the LCS, FlyQuest finished the week with a 4-3 record, which placed them in fifth place behind Evil Geniuses, CLG, Team Liquid, and 100 Thieves. Their week four return will see them take on 100T in a bid to move up the standings. Week four fixtures will begin on July 16.

This is the first time that C9 has been defeated since Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol and Zven had made their debuts on the team’s roster. C9 are now in sixth place behind FlyQuest and will begin week four against TSM. This will mark the halfway point of the competition.

Dignitas and TSM come into this best-of-one match with only one win separating them in the standing for the LCS Summer Split. Dignitas sit in equal-last with a 1-4 record and TSM sit in equal-fifth with a 2-3 record.

Dignitas have only recorded one win for the Split so far and that came against the team sitting in equal last with them, Immortals. Outside of that win, Dignitas has struggled in most of their matches with only two of their four losses lasting 30 minutes or longer. Dignitas also struggled to make any impact in their first three losses with the team only managing a combined eight kills for those three matches where they lost to CLG, Team Liquid and 100 Thieves.

TSM have a 2-3 record through their first five games for the LCS Summer Split, with both of their wins coming against Immortals and Team Liquid. TSM started the Split off slowly with two defeats in a row to 100 Thieves and CLG, but they have since found their form with two wins from their next three dominating Immortals and Team Liquid, both in under 30 minutes. If TSM bring the form from their dominating wins to this match against Dignitas we could see a very quick match here.

We will be siding with the favourites in this best-of-one, but at $1.61 in the win market is too short to suggest a bet, therefore we will be taking TSM at the kill handicap of -4.5 at $1.83 with top esports betting sites.

Cloud9 and FlyQuest will begin week three with identical records of 2-3 and sit in equal-fifth together after both teams have had very up-and-down Splits so far.

Cloud9 have beaten Dignitas and 100 Thieves to record their two wins this Split and have lost to Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiatiors and Evil Geniuses. Starting off the LCS Summer Split with three losses in a row was not the ideal start for the boys from Cloud9 but they have since found some form and they have now put two wins together in their last two matches.

Being beaten by Immortals, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid and their single win coming against the equal-first team in CLG. Although FlyQuest has lost three of their last four, all of their games have been close and they have played every team who sit in equal first in the standings this Split.

If FlyQuest and Cloud9 bring the form that they have shown in their last two games to this match-up, we could see a very competitive League of Legends battle. We think the online bookmakers have got this one wrong, and we will taking FlyQuest to win this match.

The last match that we will preview for week three of the LCS Summer Split is the top of the table clash between Team Liquid and CLG who both have 4-1 records and are tied for first-place.

Team Liquid starting the Split on fire winning their first three matches over Immortals, Dignitas and Cloud9 who all sit towards the bottom of the standings. They then lost their next match against TSM and won a very tight contest against FlyQuest, in their most recent match. Given the teams that Team Liquid have beaten so far this Split, there is a query on the form and strength of their wins and teams they have beaten. This will be their toughest match for the Split so far.

CLG also started off their LCS Summer campaign with three straight wins over Dignitas, TSM and Gaimin Gladiators. They were then defeated by FlyQuest in one of the best games of the Split so far, but they were able to bounce back and defeat Evil Geniuses in another tight contest. CLG does have the better resume of the too in this match-up so we believe they should be the favourites here but the online bookmakers do not agree.

Given that we believe CLG has the better resume here and they should be favourites, we have no reason not to take them at the $3 with bookies.

?Team Liquid have not made any roster changes ahead of the LCS 2022 Summer, and that’s fine. Perhaps they could add a more impactful jungler, but Lucas “Santorin” Tao is still serviceable and he shouldn’t be a limiting factor for Liquid until they face international competition at Worlds.

Despite their slip-up in LCS 2022 Spring Playoffs, Team Liquid are more than capable of winning the LCS, and we wouldn’t be shocked if they do it. The only teams that can stop them include Evil Geniuses, Cloud9 and 100 Thieves, but after the three, there’s a massive quality gap.

Dignitas had their moments last split, and despite finishing seventh, they did well for their standards. For the final split of the season, Dignitas added former Overwatch League player Noh “Gamsu” Yeong-jin to replace Aaron “FakeGod” Lee, which might seem like a downgrade, but we don’t expect much will change.

Team Liquid are stronger, and they shouldn’t be losing games like this. But since we’re in a slow, scaling meta, it’s wiser to explore options of betting on the underdogs with a kill handicap. We don’t expect Dignitas to upset Liquid, but they should keep the match within six kills.

?The second day of action in the LCS will see a rematch of the LCS 2022 Spring finals between Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves. EG won the series 3-0, yet the esports betting sites have the two squads priced relatively close, and that’s fair.

100 Thieves might have lost the finals, but if we take the LCS 2022 Spring as a whole, the two teams weren’t that far apart. This is still a match between two of NA’s title contenders that field some of the best players in the league, so the question is rarely about which team has better players but rather which roster will step up on the day.

If we had to pick a team, we would side with Evil Geniuses, but at the offered LoL esports betting odds, there is no value on the moneyline. So instead, we’ll take under 26.5 kills, which is a very high line considering the game’s current state.

?With their current roster, TSM can only dream of returning to their former glory, and even the addition of mid laner Huang “Maple” Yi-Tang likely won’t help TSM make a run for the LCS crown. Overall, this is a good team with not one player you could consider bad. But on the other side, jungler Mingyi “Spica” Lu is the only great player on this roster.

TSM should do much better than in spring, and they seem capable of reaching the playoffs, but anything more than that is wishful thinking. CLG were decent last split, and if they can play around ADC Fatih “Luger” Güven, CLG should be just as successful in LCS 2022 Summer. Unfortunately, that still puts them in the bottom four.

We like to see CLG trying out new players and giving younger talent a chance, which could benefit the organisation long-term, but it’s hard to feel excited about a team with little upside. This could be a messy game, but TSM look better on paper and shouldn’t be priced much higher than $1.50.

With the announcement, LCS also revealed the format and full schedule for the event. However, the fixtures are yet to be finalized.

The first and eighth weeks will be “super weeks,” with every team in the league playing three games each in three days. Every other week will see teams play only two games, and there is a break week after week 3 and before week 4.

Throughout the eight-week split, all ten NA teams will be fighting for a top-four finish to get a piece of the $200,000 prize pool. Meanwhile, a top-three finish will be more desirable as the best three teams will get direct seeding to the Worlds, which will hold in North America for the first time since 2016.

The NA teams did not have a great run in the 2021 Worlds and will be looking to assert themselves once again on the world stage. Cloud9 went the farthest in the contest, finishing sixth after getting swept by Gen.G Esports in the quarterfinals.

Seeing as the Spring Split ended on April 23, every team except Evil Geniuses will have eight weeks to rest and prepare for the summer. EG finished top in the standings during the spring, walking away with $100,000 of the $200,00 prize pool and securing the Mid-Season Invitational berth.

The event commenced on May 10 and will be played to a conclusion on May 29. EG is still participating in the event, as their average display has kept them alive thus far.

The NA representative finished the group stage with a 4-4 record, enough to secure a rumble stage spot. They went even-steven once again as they managed only five wins in ten outings at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center.

If they manage a win in the semifinals against the Chinese Royal Never Give Up, who are participating remotely, they will seal a final spot and will play either the Korean T1 or Europe’s G2 Esports.

For the first time since 2020, fans will be present at the LCS studio to witness the regular season games. While a live crowd was available at the Spring Split, they were only for the playoffs and not for the entire season.

Tickets are already on sale, and the league has revealed that they will uphold health and safety protocols. Before anyone is allowed into the studio, they must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test. Fans are also expected to wear face masks at all times while indoors.

Teams have been upgrading their roster as they await the start of the Summer Split. It promises to be an intriguing season as there is so much more at stake.

?DWG KIA and T1 have made it to the LCK 2021 Summer finals as two of the strongest Korean LoL teams. T1 had to make it past Liiv SANDBOX (3-0) and Gen.G (3-1), while DWG KIA only had to face Nongshim RedForce (3-0).

DWG KIA’s performance metrics over the regular season show 4% Average Gold Spent Percentage Difference (GSPD), 0.38 Gold Percent Rating (GPR), 52.7 Early Game Rating (EGR), 14.7 Mid-Late Game Rating (MLR), and +337 Gold Difference at 15 min (GD@15). In comparison, T1 numbers show 3.5% GSPD, 0.74 GPR, 58.6 EGR, -1.7 MLR, and +1065 GD@15.

If we look at only the figures from the playoff matches, DWG KIA have managed 8.5% GSPD, 1.98 GPR, 80.6 EGR, 19.4 MLR, and +2574 GD@15, while T1 produced 1.7% GSPD, 0.91 GPR, 56.6 EGR, 29.1 MLR, and +940 GD@15. Even though DWG KIA’s metrics include only three games, we have to keep in mind that they have been gaining serious traction for a few weeks now.

DWG KIA seem like the most likely victors, largely due to their improvement in the latter stages of the season, but we wouldn’t bet on them at the offered LoL betting odds. Instead, we like T1 on the first blood (FB) market across all five maps at $1.94. This is an excellent price, considering T1 have averaged the highest FB% in the league at 68%, while DWG KIA’s is at only 47%.

?100 Thieves outperformed Cloud9 in the LCS 2021 Summer regular-season; however, they have yet to impress during the playoffs. So while we have to praise them for beating Evil Geniuses and forcing Team Liquid to five maps, 100T could have done much better in their last two series.

On the other side, we have Cloud9, who have had quite a few slip-ups this season, most notably their 1-3 loss against Team Liquid in the 2021 LCS Championship opener. However, the boys in blue have since improved quite drastically and seem to have found their stride just in time to compete for another LCS title.

Individually, there is not a lot to set these two teams apart, so it will all come down to their players’ clutch factor. And that is where Cloud9 should have an edge, largely thanks to Luka “Perkz” Perkovi?.

It could be a close match, and there is a solid chance we might see five maps, but if we had to pick a side, Cloud9 are a better bet.

?Fnatic achieved what many believed was impossible and made it into the LEC 2021 Summer playoffs lower bracket finals. It is a miracle run of sorts, but it wouldn’t be fair to say that Fnatic don’t deserve to be where they are.

Many will be quick to point out that Fnatic needed five maps to win their playoffs bouts, which might make you believe that Fnatic were only slightly better than Team Vitality, Misfits Gaming, and G2 Esports. However, that’s not necessarily the case.

Fnatic should have beaten Misfits and G2 Esports with 3-1, yet they – in their own style – threw away massive leads and gave up a map. So, the quality is there; however, you can feel slightly concerned with Fnatic’s over-aggression.

Their next opponents, Rogue, were billed as the main favourites to win the LEC 2021 Summer title, but it was soon made clear that Rogue were perhaps a bit overrated due to their regular-season success. They first struggled against Misfits Gaming (3-2) and then completely fell apart against MAD Lions, who beat them 3-0 on Saturday.

You could argue that Fnatic overachieved; however, you can’t really defend Rogue for what they have produced in their last two playoffs bouts either. Rogue come off as an individually better team and should win as long as they can prevent Fnatic from playing their own game, but as Vitality, Misfits, and G2 can confirm, that is easier said than done.

?Team WE made it past Oh My God (3-0) and Bilibili Gaming (3-0) and are now set to face Rare Atom for a spot in the second stage of the LoL Pro League (LPL) 2021 Summer playoffs. Rare Atom last met with Team WE at the start of June, when they edged out a 2-1 victory; however, WE have since improved, so they should do better this time out.

Team WE enter this match as one of the most efficient early-game teams in the league, as evident from their Gold Difference (GD) metrics, which show +594 GD@10, +2303 GD@15, and +1725 GD@20. Those figures rank them fourth, first and first in the league respectively. In contrast, Rare Atom have managed +142 GD@10, +857 GD@15, and +1575 GD@20 – seventh, third, and third in the league.

Team WE’s pre-20 GD numbers are directly related to their strong Herald control (60.5%); however, they lack in Drake (49.2%) and Baron (57.1%). Those stats indicate that beating Team WE is fairly simple – survive the early game and draft scaling, which is Rare Atom’s preferred style of play.

This should be a stylistic nightmare for Team WE. Although WE are in hot form, we would argue that Rare Atom should be priced as the betting favourites.

?Misfits Gaming surprised many with their close five-map series against Rogue (2-3) on Friday, and you could even argue that the Bunnies should have won that match. Fnatic, meanwhile, edged past Team Vitality (3-2) in their opening match of the playoffs.

Fnatic played well, and they seem close to the form they’ve been showing midway through the summer season. Fnatic’s bottom lane is still a force to be reckoned with, while their top side is surprisingly solid. Mid laner Yasin “Nisqy” Din?er can be hit-or-miss with a strong upside, while jungler Gabri?l “Bwipo” Rau is the same playmaker he was during his time in the top lane.

Individually, Fnatic are a better team than Misfits; however, they aren’t as consistent, for which they could get punished. The teams’ win conditions for this match are fairly simple – Misfits need to play the same way they usually do and hope Fnatic beat themselves, whereas Fnatic need to counter Misfits’ strong top side and rely on their bottom lane to do their thing.

Misfits are 2-0 up in the head-to-head with Fnatic on the season; however, they had the luxury of facing Fnatic while they were struggling with their form. This match has a five-map series written all over it, but we have to favour Fnatic to come out ahead.

?TSM got stomped by Team Liquid on Sunday (1-3) and now need to fight their way through the lower bracket for a ticket for the 2021 LoL World Championship. Their next opponents, Immortals, eased past Dignitas with an excellent showing, but it remains to be seen whether they’ll look as good against the LCS regular-season champions.

TSM lead Immortals 5-0 in the head-to-head over the 2021 LCS season and are expected to add their sixth on Friday. That might happen; however, we don’t believe TSM will be as dominant as the latest LoL betting odds suggest.

Immortals have done relatively well against TSM in their last three clashes and should have won at least once. They might not have as many star names, but Immortals are good enough to push TSM to their limits and are a solid bet with a +1.5 map handicap.

?Evil Geniuses made it into the second round of the playoffs after crushing Dignitas (3-1) on Saturday. It was a fairly straightforward win for EG, who were a much better team on the day, and while they have had a few iffy moments, namely their members getting caught out of position, that mostly had to do with EG feeling a bit too confident with their lead.

Evil Geniuses’ next series is against 100 Thieves, which promises to be a spectacular matchup between two of the best LCS teams. If we compare these two squads, there isn’t a lot to separate them, although we like EG slightly better.

Evil Geniuses have been averaging some of the best performance metrics across four major regions and are 3-2 up in the head-to-head on the year (2-0 in summer), making them a solid bet at $1.98. You also can’t go wrong with a smaller stake on a -1.5 map handicap at $2.80.

?MAD Lions are the reigning LEC champions but, if you look at their whole-season numbers and compare it to G2 Esports, it’s tough to make a strong case in their favour. MAD Lions are a good team; however, they don’t seem as solid as they were in April when they took the LEC trophy from Rogue.

Perhaps the whole-season numbers don’t show an accurate picture of how this match should go. But if we only analyse the performance metrics G2 and MAD have produced across the final few weeks of the regular season, it becomes evident that G2 are a much better team.

Across their last seven outings, G2 have managed 0.36 Gold Percentage Rating (GPR), 4.1% Average Gold Spent Percentage Difference (GSPD), 49.9 Early Game Rating (EGR), and the league’s highest 36.7 Mid Late Game Rating (MLR). In contrast, MAD Lions managed 0.03 GPR, 0.8% GSPD, 49.7 EGR, and 21.7 MLR.
