?G2 Esports are the best North American Rocket League esports team, and over the last two months. Since crashing out of the Mobil 1 Mountain Classic in third place, G2 Esports have won all but two of their 18 outings. Their only two defeats came against Team Questo and Spacestation Gaming, who G2 ended up beating at least once throughout the 18 games.
Moreover, G2 won the 7-Eleven Slurpee Cup without dropping a single game and not more than two maps per game, beating Pittsburgh Knights (3-2), Rogue (3-1), Torrent (4-0), Team Envy (4-1), and Version1 (4-2).
Randoms were formed in February and have not achieved much since. Their most notable success was winning the 2022 NSG Winter Championship; however, they have yet to make any noise in the RLCS, winning just two of their eight closed-qualifier matches.
G2 Esports are not known for trashing lesser teams, and it might be tough facing an unknown opponent, but they are a class above Randoms and should come out ahead with plenty to spare.

?Rogue might be one of the most underestimated teams in the North American Rocket League scene. Admittedly, they haven’t achieved much this season, but they’ve shown some glimpses of greatness with wins against XSET, Oxygen Esports, The General NRG, and Soniqs, who they’ve beaten twice over the last 30 days.
Ghost Gaming belong in the same boat as a team that hasn’t achieved much but has shown up occasionally. Most notably, Ghost Gaming finished the Verizon 5G Ultra Cup in fourth with only two defeats against G2 Esports (1-4) and Spacestation Gaming (1-4). Furthermore, at the 7-Eleven Slurpee Cup, Ghost even forced Spacestation Gaming to five maps (2-3), proving that they can compete with the best.
But even though Ghost Gaming have looked slightly better against NA’s top Rocket League teams, that doesn’t mean they should be priced as short as they are for this match. This seems like a 50/50 affair, so we’ll gladly side with Rogue at plus money.
Rogue to win
COMPLEXITY vs SONIQS RLCS BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Complexity last met with Soniqs on May 13, when they won 3-2 to claim their second head-to-head victory of 2022. That explains why Complexity are the favourites to win on Friday, but we wouldn’t count out Soniqs just yet.
Soniqs are far from one of the top NA RLCS teams, but they have been playing well of late. At Gamers Without Borders 2022: North America, Soniqs played very close games against Oxygen Esports and Rogue, and even though they lost both, they fell just a couple of goals short of coming out ahead.
This match has upset potential, and at the offered RLCS esports betting odds, it’s hard to pass on Soniqs. They might be a bit inconsistent, but as long as Andrew “Andy” Nolan steps up, Soniqs should be in an excellent spot to defeat Complexity.
Last time out, Andy had a terrible performance (0.773 rating) and Soniqs still forced five maps. But he has been improving, which gives us hope that the 18-year-old star can lead his team to a much-needed victory on Friday.
