Following their loss to OpTic Texas in CDL 2025 Stage 2 Minor last week, the Vegas Falcons are 0-15, and they have yet to win a single Hardpoint map ahead of the third week of Major 2 Qualifiers. Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 have not performed much better, with just three wins from 14 games played since the start of the season.
While Vegas Falcons are the worst-performing team in the league, LA Guerrillas M8 have hardly shown more, so it is fair to question why CoD betting sites have Thomas “Lynz” Gregorio and co. priced at $1.02.
Even though it is doubtful for the Falcons to win the game if they do not manage to put together a Hardpoint map, they have a good chance to pick up Control or Search & Destroy.

MIAMI HERETICS vs VANCOUVER SURGE CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | Heretics $3.50 at GG Bet | Surge $1.28 at William Hill |
When: | March 9, 2025 | 13:30 PST |

Vancouver Surge should not struggle to defeat Miami Heretics unless something goes terribly wrong. The big concern with the Heretics for this match is their Search & Destroy, as they only seem to do well on Protocol (66.7%) and Red Card (50%), which are Surge’s best maps (100% and 60% win rate, respectively).
Miami Heretics are also significantly worse on Control (15.4% win rate). On a more positive note, the Spanish outfit do well on Hardpoint, but their only real chance to win a Hardpoint is Skyline, which Surge will likely remove.
This should end in a comfortable victory for Surge, who are unlikely to lose more than one map.
Vancouver Surge -1.5 maps
TORONTO ULTRA vs OPTIC TEXAS CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | Ultra $1.44 at Betway | OpTic $2.62 at GG Bet |

We saw this matchup last weekend during CDL 2025 Stage 2 Minor, and it did not end well for OpTic, who lost 0-3. It is hard to believe the rematch will go the other way.
OpTic have struggled a lot since the recent roster change and have not managed to put together a single map since the start of Stage 2—excluding their win against the Vegas Falcons.
There is a world where OpTic take a map, if we see Hardpoint-Skyline or potentially Control-Vault, as OpTic looked competitive in their last meeting with the Ultra. But considering their recent form, OpTic Texas will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to upset Toronto Ultra.
Toronto Ultra -1.5 maps
BOSTON BREACH vs ATLANTA FAZE CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Breach $6.50 at William Hill | FaZe $1.10 at BetOnline |
When: | March 9, 2025 | 16:30 PST |

Atlanta FaZe should have a field day in the final match of the day as they take on the shaky Boston Breach. As the offered betting odds suggest, there is a significant quality difference between the two teams, and their stats tell the same story.
Atlanta FaZe have a better win rate on all game modes, including Hardpoint (69.2% vs 52.6%), Search & Destroy (66.7% vs 37.5%), and Control (68.8% vs 27.3%). Boston Breach have not improved much recently, with losses to Toronto Ultra, Cloud9 New York, and Vancouver Surge.
The Breach are 0-3 down in the head-to-head matchup this season, having lost all three without winning a map. Barring any surprises, FaZe should improve their record to 4-0.
